At First United Methodist, these are more than just words on a banner.  We strive to live this concept of "open-ness", of welcoming in what we do and how we do it.

     Our doors are open to all of God's people, our minds are open to differing opinions and ideas, our hearts are open to the guidance of the Spirit and to the suffering of God's children.

     Do it now, this week, this day.  Don't know what to do.  I have lots of suggestions!  Below are a few.....

1.   Sign the "thinking of you" cards in our church entrance (narthex) each Sunday.  These are mailed to our shut-ins.

2.   Contact the church (623-3397 or cfumc@wvdsl.net ) to inform our pastors when you or a loved one enters the hospital.

3.   Volunteer a few hours a month to help with our Handyman Ministries.  Contact Phil Ferber (842-2547) or Mike Reinhart (622-0082) for more details.
