Communion Services are held several times throughout the year during the Sunday morning worship services in the Sanctuary. The Sacrament of Communion is available to shut-in and homebound members upon request.

Monthly Communion Services are held on the first Sunday of the month in the Sanctuary.

We believe the Sacraments, ordained by Christ, are symbols and pledges of the Christian profession and of God's love toward us. They are means of grace by which God works invisibly in us, quickening, strengthening, and confirming our faith in Him. Two Sacraments are ordained by Christ our Lord, namely Baptism and the Lord's Supper.

We believe the Lord's Supper is a representation of our redemption, a memorial of the sufferings and death of Christ, and a token of love and union which Christians have with Christ and one another. Those who rightly, worthy, and in faith eat the broken break and drink from the blessed cup partake of the body and blood of Christ in a spiritual manner until He comes.

Holy Communion has its origin in the Passover Meal which celebrates the ancient Hebrews' escape and deliverance by God's hand from bondage to freedom. It is a meal to which Jesus gave new meaning as He shared it with his disciples on the night before His crucifixion. From the earliest times, believers have experienced Christ as present among them in this holy celebration. Methodists believe Christ is present in this meal as Spirit, not actual flesh and blood.

Everyone who claims Christ as Lord is welcome at the table, for it is not a Methodist table, but the Table of the Lord. Children are most welcome; while they may not understand the deep theological meanings, they can share and feel the blessing of being a part of God's family who love one another and who are deeply loved by Jesus Christ.
