Nursery child care is provided for infants (who are at least six weeks old) and toddlers, Sunday mornings from 8:15 am - 12:15 pm. Our mission is to provide a safe, loving environment for children, while parents participate in Sunday school, worship, and other church-wide experiences. The nursery is staffed by paid workers who have been carefully screened and interviewed by the Child Care Coordinator. No reservations or pre-registration is necessary, however, please remain on the church property while your child is in nursery care.

Worship Care Volunteers

Worship Care offers parents and other members of the church an opportunity to be in ministry to families with young children as they provide child care for children ages two, three and four during the Sunday morning worship services.  Parents of children of these ages are asked to be a part of this ministry about once per quarter.  During Worship Care, children have time to play in the classrooms and hear a story.

Security Policy
Because the safety of your child is one of our top priorities, parents are required to follow these guidelines.
  • Upon bringing your child to the Nursery entrance, you must sign in on the sheet provided. You will be given a name tag and a vibrating pager that will be used to notify you if your child becomes ill or unhappy.
  • For your child's safety, please do not enter the Nursery hallway. A nursery worker will take your child to the correct classroom and bring him or her to you upon your return.
  • The pager must be presented when picking up your child. Siblings are not permitted to pick up children.
  Nursery Policy
We recognize that a childs first impressions of Gods love can come from a good church experience during the first years of life. Please help us provide the optimum care we desire by observing the following:

  •   All items must be labeled. This includes diaper bags, pacifiers, bottles, blankets, and clothing. Disposable diapers only, please.
  •   Bottles should be completely prepared at home. Due to the number of children we care for we are unable to feed solids on Sunday mornings.
  •   Crackers and Cheerios will be provided for those children who are permitted to have them.
  •   Please alert the Nursery Staff of any allergies your child may have.
  •   Please do not bring toys from home. We provide activities for the children and extra toys can be distracting.  If you bring toys in the building, please put them in your child's bag before signing in.
  •   You will be notified if your child is to be promoted to another class.  Please do not move your child to another room unless you have been requested to do so.  This will help us maintain the proper ratios of teachers to children.
  •   Our nursery care providers are not allowed to administer medication of any kind.
Wellness Policy

For the protection of your child and other children, please do not leave a child who has had any of the following symptoms within the last 24 hours.

  •       Fever
  •       Vomiting, diarrhea
  •       Any unexplained rash or skin infection
  •       Boils, ringworm, impetigo
  •       Pinkeye and other eye infections
  •       First 24 hours on antibiotics.
