Your prayers and concerns are important to us.
If you would like the staff and congregation of First United Methodist Church to remember someone in prayer, we provide prayer cards in all of the worship services. Just complete the card with the information. Please remember to write or print legibly. Once the card is filled out, you may pass the completed card to the front at the appropriate time during the worship service or place it in the offering plate. During the prayer segment of the service, your prayer request will be read out aloud and the entire congregation will pray for you.
Your request will be added to the weekly prayer list and our Congregational Care team will pray for you, as well as many other members of the church who visit our website to view the prayer concerns. If you do not want it added to the weekly list, just make note on the prayer request card.
You may also call the church office at 623-3397 to add a prayer request or to give an encouraging word to someone in need, use the following message board. It will be added to the weekly prayer list.
We also have an Intercessory Prayer group that meets every Friday to pray for those listed, as well.

NOTE TO SITE ADMIN: You will need to edit the message board to activate it. Edit the component and add a Forum such as "Prayer Needs" and/or "Prayer Praises". You can then add a prayer request to the Prayer Needs forum, such as "Pray For Our Website". You can start off with a prayer need such as "Please pray that our web site will be used to grow and strenghten our community's walk with Christ." Visitors can then enter a new prayer need or a reply to your request.
